I am moving from the Farmington Public Defender’s Office to the City of St. Louis Public Defenders Office on Monday, August 3rd.

My last court date in Farmington will be Friday, July 24th. If your case is not resolved by that date, it will be transferred to either (1) another public defender in the Farmington Office; or (2) a “special public defender” — which means a private attorney the Missouri State Public Defender (MSPD) contracts with/pays.

That new attorney will file an “entry of appearance” on Casenet; but I will also try to notify you by text or email who that attorney is.

If you get assigned another public defender, please note that although I regularly text clients, most public defenders do not — and are not required to do so. The best way to reach them is by email or our office number (and extension) — both of which are on our business cards.
